Skiing at Mount Olympus - summit elevation 1951m (6401 ft) - in the Troodos Mountains
The North Face slopes from the Dias Restaurant, showing the 'golf ball' military radar installations
The easy Sun Valley slopes, looking north to the summit 'golf ball' and aerials
Looking down the North Face and over the North Shoulder into North Cyprus
North Face uplift from the Dias Restaurant - the 'T' bar tow has now been replaced with a chairlift
View from the summit showing the military installations, and the North Cyprus coast in the Lefke
            (Lefka) and Gemikonagi (Karavostasi) area.
Telephoto shot from same viewpoint, showing one of the dams that created reservoirs for the
            former Cyprus Mines Corporation.
The view into the North from lower down Mount Olympus
Telephoto shot from same viewpoint, overlooking Guzelyurt (Morfou) and its sweeping Bay
A peep through the trees to the Sun Valley Cafeteria and ski equipment rental hut
The Sun Valley facilities make use of an old British Army Nissen hut for ski storage.
My white VW Passat Estate in the foreground is a legend!
It's driven all around Cyprus, North and South, and completed two return trips from the UK.
That's 5,000km (3,000m) each way - down through autobahn Europe, the Balkan countries,
Turkey and finally the ferry boat to Kyrenia - happy days!
