          Ascent via the Red Route from Baspinar Restaurant, Lapta (Lapithos) to the Jeep Track
 
 
         
 
 
          Coming out above the clouds on a prominent peak half-way up the route (about 820m, 2690 ft)

       Looking east along the Besparmak (Pendadhaktylos or Five Fingers) Range, with an 845m (2772 ft) 
       summit preceding St. Hilarion (725m, 2379 ft) in the middle distance, and then the big cliffs of
       Buffavento (954m, 3130 ft) in the mists beyond.
 
 
            
 
The beginning of the descent of the Blue Route to Baspinar. Kornos Ridge (a rock scrambling route)  ascends the skyline on the right to the summit at 946m (3104 ft)
